Cool You might want to search threads for "grain"

I'm getting a new LCD soon anyway but just wanted to know if I should buy more movies or wait til i get the new TV.
There was a lot of controversy about the movie when it came out. Because of all the grain that was, intentionally, left in the movie transfer it didn't look HD enough for some people. If you want to see if it is really the PQ that is the problem put a disc like POTC in, it is generally accepted as one of the best transfers to date.
