I finally won something! So I just got an e-mail saying I won a prize pack from this giveaway (think it includes 4 blus)!

With my luck it will be movies that I already own!

I got an email stating I won a pack as well.

I believe it was the "Action Movie Pack" which means I'll get four out of a possible five discs in the pack (they choose as far as I can tell).

The five are (in no particular order):

Wanted
The Scorpion King
Fearless
Miami Vice
Death Race

I'm actually going to Universal Studios Orlando next month... should be fun. Anyone been there before?

Only to their theme park - Islands of Adventure. That place is a BLAST! So well themed and lots of cool experiences and rides.

Just received an email back from the promotions department that is handling the blu-ray giveaway. They're apparently not shipping the prizes until they've collected all the winning addresses (the last ones are due within a few days).

They'd then ship all prizes at once via UPS or USPS and we should expect 6-8 weeks for processing and shipping.

If you ask me that is an appalling amount of time and they should be able to do this in a week, but I guess it is hard to expect more when it is a free prize afterall.

I recieved an e-mail saying that I won 4 blu ray discs but, they didn't specify the titles or genre. They said it should take 4 to 6 weeks for me to recieve my prize. Hopefully it's something I like, if not I will have to sell or trade them. Thanks Universal!!!

A flipper disc has the blu ray version on one side and the standard DVD version on the other.

I had been entering this contest at least every other day, not ever expecting to win anything. Well, two weeks ago I got this notification in the mail telling me that I won the contest....and lo and behold, the BDs arrived yesterday.

Not all are the greatest of selections, but they gave me Coraline (already have it), The Incredible Hulk, Field of Dreams, The Tale of Despereaux, and Land of the Lost.

Got mine today. Mine were Baby Mama, Knocked Up, Burn After Reading, Forgetting Sarah Marshall & I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.

On a side note all of the cases were damaged. They had been cut through the UPC symbol. The cut goes into the case itself but none of the discs were damaged. Did this happen to anyone else??

Mine are all mint. Even got the slipcover with Coraline. Sorry to hear about that.
