My only hesitation is whether the NAD is in the Logitech database, since I can't use my old remote to program the Harmony.

Is there a site where I can check to see if the NAD is a supported device?

Thanks
You can go to Logitech's web site and see if it is. Or call Logitech. They have great customer service.

I had been to the web site, but didn't see the page to check compatibility. I found it, looked up the NAD T-762 and found it's supported!

Now I'm kind of glad the NAD remote died. I've wanted a universal remote, but have been to Scottish to spring for it. That and the PS3 issue. Seems like I'm running out of excuses!

I just added a Logitech PS3 adapter to my setup. It paired up to the console with no problems at all and works perfectly so far with my Harmony One. It replaced a Nyko Bluwave adapter. The Bluwave worked perfectly, but not being able to power the console on/off was getting to be a real pain. Not every time I need to turn the console on or off am I also having to put a disc in it or take one out.

Also just added the harmony adapter.

Love it!

Haven't decided what to do with my PS3 Remote... Guess I'll just keep it for no reason.

I don't see lots of discussion about this adapter online anywhere,.. I guess that's because it just simply works.

how are people liking the Harmony adapter for the PS3?

i just picked it up tonight, and spent most of the night tinkering with it.

of course, it's not as responsive as the regular bluetooth PS3 BD player remote, but it seems to work well enough. i love that i finally have a single remote that controls everything, but at the same time, it annoys me that button presses are randomly unresponsive, and i have to press several times to get it to do what it's suppose to. i have a pretty good line of sight, and it's still a bit unresponsive. changed a bunch of the settings in the harmony software (decreased button delay time to 100 ms, and increased some setting to level 2, that ranged from 0-5) but it still performs essentially the same.

anyone else with any tips or challenges they're going through with their harmony adapter?

also, i saw in the Logitech forums that apparently there were some interference problems with the adapter and the PS3 controller?? plus some other compatibility issues with the PS3 slim?

Sometimes when I turn all of my gear on with my Harmony One the remote fails to pair with the PS3. And when this happens the PS3 remotes don't pair either, meaning I have to cycle the power of the PS3 to get everything paired correctly. It's annoying, but it doesn't happen but maybe 10% of the time. I just wish I knew what it is that causes the problem so I could correct it.

hmmm.. maybe certain Harmony remotes work better with the PS3 adapter? I'm using the 550.

i'ts not bad, it's just that i'm used to the PS3 bluetooth BD player remote, and that one is super responsive.

we'll see how it goes. i've only had it for one night, and i'm sure i'll use it pleny over the holidays with all the movie watching.

speaking of which, Happy Holidays blu-ray forum members!

Alright I finally got a Harmony One but my ps3 adapter is not here yet... Should I just wait to set everything up when it gets here? I don't have a lot of equipment but anxious to set up/ use it (never had one before).

Using the Harmony One

Alright I just tried setting it up and it is working fine and its pretty sweet thus far. However, I tried to add my favorite channels with icons...When I hit "Fav" on the touch screen it just brings up the favorite channels menu on my tv not what I just set up with icons on the remote. Is there a trick to it, or did I just miss something?

I was told by Harmony to keep the remote on the charger. It won't hurt it and I have been on vacation for 4 weeks at a time.

Harmony said that if the remote was off the charger it would not be charged when you got back home.

The PS3 adapter has a jack to connect to Harmony RF adapters, though you might need an adapter cable to connect the two adapters. Once connected, they will convert your 1100's RF signal to BT without going thru IR.

What's the cheapest place in Canada to get a Harmony One remote? The best i'f found is Best Buy at $280 but that's still quite expensive. Anyone know of a better place?
