Does anyone know if the slim 120 gig PS3 will either be coming down from price (< $299) or if a bundle is forthcoming ??

I'm debating whether I should just buy it now, or wait ?

Anyone's thoughts on this is appreciated.

If you follow this mentality, you'll never get a PS3. There will always be new deals and/or bundles being offered somewhere. If anything, there will be bundles made available that will include a game or two that can be acquired for $19.99 each anyhow, so why wait?

I say, pull the trigger already. You obviously want one, so get it.

One thing is certain. The price will remain $299 for quite some time. My 60GB launch day PS3 has always been worth the $650 I paid for it on day one.

Damn...you want PS3 for free or something? $299 is a freaking steal!

But, to answer your question...No, I don't see the PS3 going lower than $299 any time soon! Look how long it took to get the price this low? I brought my PS3 back in July 2007 for $500 and I don't regret it! Besides look at what you get...

Buy it now.

It won't be dropping in price anytime soon. $299 is a GREAT price for what you'll get out of the thing.

There could be a FFXIII bundle. You never know. Might be a GT5 one too.

Your best bet is trying to get a bundle deal to counter the $299 price that your concerned about...I still say $299 is a sick price for a machine that does everything...I might pick one up for my lil bro soon too...So I hope I can find a good deal as well...I hope no PS4 comes out yet because developers are just now mastering the PS3's capabilities and a new console will seriously be a kill joy...I'm not looking forward to a system at $500+ again...I hope they give the PS3 another 4-6 years...

I picked one up because of the bundle deal with Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Infamous.

The way I figure it is like this:

2 x $60 games = $120
Extra 120 gig hard drive = $50

If I take those out of the equation, I made off like a bandit getting a spare PS3 for the den.
