What Hussla said. I can't stand if someone gets in the way of the tv, or talks during the show. PIP does just that.
Now, if I was watching some news event being covered on multiple channels, then PIP would help me keep track of a second station and switch if I like the camera angle better. Most people do not go back to rewatch the movie with silly little pop up facts and commentary. That is generally the fanatical act of "Star Wars" fans and their ilk. When my HDTV was still on analog only, it was nice using the dual NTSC tuner to get "side by side" PIP. Been about 3 years since using it and I can't say I have missed it much. |
