How about these???

I could probably settle for the Revels Series from those choices.

I sided with other myself. So many choices (Yes the AN/E Sogon is on the list) along with Dynaudio, Meridian, Audiance, Audio Lab, and a lot of others! Of the ones listed - I would go with Revels, MA Platinums, and B&W 800's.

If money were no object, I would have a system with Eggleston Ivy as main speakers Andra Center and Nines as surround speakers. My second choice would be JBL Everest II as mains & K2s as center & surround speakers.

It would depend on what options I had to choose from in this 'dream'. I would hope there would be some JM Lab Grand Utopias and some high end Mark Levinson or Plinius power amps in there. This way, I could sell them and get a modest set of Dynaudios to go in my new house

I understand the concept of "One Man's Floor is Another Man's Ceiling"..aka.. "One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure" but I don't know if some of these speakers belong in the "Dream Speaker" category, especially since so many better -or- higher-end speakers are left off the list...

+1 ...especially considering how many people own these speakers on that list. They are definately not average speakers by any means but they fall short of luxury and exotic "dream" speakers. Then again, I like to dream BIG, ya know? I don't care to ever spend over $10,000 on a complete system and would be perfectly content within that budget but just for the sake of the topic, I'd be looking at much higher quality and craftsmanship than what's listed.

I would love to have Dali's too.... to bad that wasn't an option. I voted Other.

Dali or Dynaudio would be my dream system.

BTW js666, your setup is fantastic. Can I come over?

I heard the Concepts and the Ikons and love them. The dealer had Helicons there but they weren't setup.

Nice to see that Dynaudio is finally getting some attention here For a while there, I thought I was the only one that's gaga over them

Obviously, I voted other and will continue to dream of one day getting some Dynaudio Evidence Masters or heck I'll settle forthe Consequence SE with a full Burmester stack!

I were to limit my choices to the speakers listed, then it's gotta be the Revel Ultima Salon2.

Out of the ones listed I've only heard the Paradigm Sigs(S6's powered by Anthem) and the B&W 800 series(803D's powered by Moon?). They were both in the same room which was acoustically treated well but the s6's were on the front wall facing the entrance and the 803D's on the left wall so that plus the gear might have an effect on how they sounded. I actually like the 803D's a bit better but I think the S8's would've been a better comparison.

To this date I haven't heard anything else that I would consider over my current speakers besides the two I mentioned and the Totem Winds. Between the three - the Winds are still my favorite and for now would be the only ones I could say are my dream speakers. I would love a chance to hear all of the above mentioned and more though!

Hi Rhett! Hi DLS-222!

Rhett- you should be perfectly happy with the new Sapphires, and I'm sure you are.

DLS - Heard the Totem Wind's a little while ago....

Between the two I'd be very happy with either.

John

Hi John,

Sure I am happy! I was merely participating in this thread and wish I could get the Consequence SEs and still keep my Sapphires. Once can still dream right?

And this is true and since they are still in the boxes and I could trade for the Revel Ultima2 Series, I would do it in LESS then the blink of an eye!!!
