Yeah if Blu couldn't win in their own back yard then it would probably be time to abandon ship.

BD is way far ahead in the format war in JP and I don't think HD DVD can catch up BD by any means. May be the studios and Toshiba can try to give small goosebumps that will have no lasting effect.
