Default Blu-ray Disc Authoring Contest

Quote:
PORTLAND, Ore., May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Ensequence(R), the interactive video company, today announced that it has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (TCFHE), Panasonic and Sun Microsystems to offer the Java community an opportunity to use the Ensequence on-Q(R) Create suite to develop interactivity for Blu-ray Disc titles.

The 60-day contest begins at the JavaOne conference in San Francisco. Ensequence is offering Java developers trial licenses of the on-Q Create suite for the duration of the contest. The contest is open to contestants worldwide. Prizes include a Panasonic plasma
TV, a Panasonic Blu-ray Disc player and Twentieth Century Fox Blu-ray Disc releases.
You can read the full announcement http://www.pr-inside.com/ensequence-...ng-r118052.htm

I believe they want a fully realized BD-J application for the entire disc, and not just one app for the disc. So get some interesting ideas on paper and start coding!

I would love to do this...but unfortunately i'm not near skilled enough to do it. But i'm going to try.
I have the installation disks or Solaris 10, should I use that or Vista Premium with Visual Studio professional to attempt to do this?
