Some earlier HDTVs have 1080p panels (IE the plasma or LCD panels) but not 1080p video processing boards. This is where the problem lies. So the panels can handle it but not the boards. And you can't switch the boards either.
So go with a true 1080p HDTV instead. Better yet, go with a 1080p24 one. fuad |
