Default Please help me decide between these 3 LCD models

They are all Sony but I'm stuck on which to choose:

KDL-46V5100 120Hz

KDL-40Z5100 240Hz

KDL-46W5100 120Hz

Price is not a issue since they are all priced close (B&H). I don't know what would be the better buy. Thanks in advance.

I would go for the "Z" if you can afford it. Failing that I would be more than happy with the "W"

The Z line is better than the others just shy of the XBR line.

Thanks for the help. I've decided to go with the Z series but now I'm debating on whether to go with the 40 or 46 inch version.

Well, I finally went with the KDL46XBR9 (PC Richard & Son has it on sale for $1589.97). I hooked it up and it looks absolutely beautiful.

No kidding. I can't wait to get my Onkyo receiver back from being serviced and purchase the BDP-S560 (even though I aready have a ps3 but I want to use the ps3 just for games and the BDP-S560 for movies).

Well, it's not helping because I already purchased it yesterday and PC Richard & Son won't give me a price adjustment.(also, I can't return it since the box is already opened). Last time I ever shop there. Their return policy is terrible.

You won't be sorry you went with the 46" either. I have yet to hear anyone I know say that the T.V. they bought was too large.

Congrats on the XBR9. I wanted that or the Z series, and every store in my part of town was sold out on both 52" XBR9s and Z series lcd tvs. I eventually went with a 55" 120hz Sammy. I am happy with it, but that XBR9 is a BEAST!. Enjoy!

Anyone who says that, need to get their head examined.

I have the 52V5100. I am very happy with it. I also own a Panny 42" Plasma. I don't watch it anymore except using it for gaming. The 52V5100 gives a much better more natural looking picture than my plasma TV. The 52V5100 doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the W and Z series. I put all three of them through the hoops at the store using my Iron Man BD to test them. I couldn't tell any difference at all between them PQ wise. The V series looks plain jane, but that matters little to me. It's the PQ that counts. If you want more features, sure go for the W or Z series.

I've already stated that I purchased the XBR9 (46 inch). No more need for advice folks.
