Default Best Reciever Quailty!

Denon
Pioneer
Onkyo

Keep in mind, when comparing make sure that you are comparing fairly. Example dont compare a Pioneer Elite with a enty level Denon.

What happened to Yamaha, Marantz, Harmon-Kardon and Sony as choices?

+1 Yamaha and Marantz have some stellar offerings also! Are you looking to buy one? I love my Pio Elite, but if I can get my hands on a Marantz pre/pro, I'm getting it!

Quality-wise I think the playing field is pretty even with the choices given, as well as with HK, Marantz, Sony, and Yamaha.

To me it seems like a popularity contest vote. I would say Denon of the 3, however, Yamaha and Marantz are favorites too.

Surely there are other bangin' butt HT's that don't! But hey, I understand that we each have preferences and that is all good in my book!

This is a pretty hard one to pick. All three bring something different to the table. It just depends, which one works for you the best. By the way, Marantz is a higher end Denon and Integra is the higher end Onkyo for those that did not know.

Its like asking Toyota or Lexus or Acura or Honda!

Besides Sony, Marantz, and Yamaha, I prefer Rotel, Nad, Sherwood, Integra, Arcam, Sunfire, Lexicon, Meridian, and AudioControl receivers because they were not mentioned in the poll.

The Arcam that I saw was over $4K and Lexicon is up there in price too Rotel has a receiver for about $2,500 but getting into separates your looking at about $4-5 maybe higher.
