Hmm, well I'd have thought so given that we have season 1, but no word as to a release date yet as far as we know... how long after season 1 did the dvd/blu ray of that come out?

Hopefully we'll get a complete series package as well!

I would not worry, I bet it shows up on Blu-ray to complete the series.

Of course it'll be released on Blu. Canceled or not, it finished. Plus, S1 was released on Blu. A complete collection is a different story.

One would think with the series canceled and hot in the minds of people who liked it, that the Blu/DVDs would come sooner than later.

The flip-side is they have no sense of urgency to release it before the next season airs... since there is no next season.

Season 1 was a short season, so the Blu came out earlier than typical. Lately it seems most season releases don't come out in the summer... but rather towards the end of the summer/early fall just before the next season starts.

So... the guess for this release would be sometime from June-October.

Fox also cancelled Terminator:SCC after it's second season and released it on Blu-ray shortly after.

The second season was the best season. It has to be released.

Default Almost gaureteed.

A last chance for Fox to make any cash off this series is Blu-ray and DVD sales.....

Just a matter of when.

I don't see why it wouldn't come out.

Season 1 came out at the end of July. Maybe they're aiming for the same timeframe for Season 2 (even though the seasons aired at different times... 1 ended in May, 2 ended in Jan).

It probably depends on how well Season 1 sold.

T:SCC was a WB production, Dollhouse is a Fox production.

I sure hope so. I've held off on buying season 1 until season 2 gets confirmed on blu-ray. The show was certainly up and down in terms of quality throughout season 1, but it got fantastic in the second season and managed to tell a complete story. I'd gladly buy the whole series.

How well did season 1 sell?:

Quote:
Here is the Blu-ray top 10 (previous-week ranking in parenthesis):

1. • Fast & Furious
2. (1) Watchmen
3. (2) Coraline
4. (r) Taken
5. • Green Lantern: First Flight
6. • The Fast and the Furious
7. (r) Unforgiven
8. (12) V for Vendetta
9. • Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series
10. (r) The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Update

The BD market share for the releases of the week was:
'Torchwood: Children of Earth': 23%
'Green Lantern: First Flight: 22%
'Dollhouse: Season One': 20%
'Fast & Furious':20%
'Dragonball: Evolution': 16%
'Miss March': 10%
'Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.5': 8%
source: https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=3217

It didn't make the top ten for its release week, but did sell a healthy 20% on blu-ray. Hopefully the relatively high DB ration will be enough to prompt a BD release.

It actually came in 13th that week

I have no doubt. Joss' stuff sells like hotcakes after-market, and I'm sure we'll see Dollhouse before the end of the year.
