Yeah but I think Costner is a bore as an actor. He has some good performances like A Perfect World, but most actors could take his best roles and perfect them sadly.

No way, he was amazing in Dances with Wolves, a real iconic character.

Costner always seems to be the same character in every film. I do not think he has much range. Tom Hanks is an actor that can do comedy, action, drama, etc. Just using him as an example of a real actor.

Although, I have not seen Mr. Brooks yet so maybe that will change my mind.
