Can someone explain why Ski Jumping is a judged sport?

"He jumped further, but his form was off".

They don't give style points for the long jump, and I don't see how this is different.

My guess it would be to eliminate a tie. Competitors can easily jump the same distance, but one jumper may look stunning!

I knew that Canada was going to win. I bought the Blu-ray set and a replica of the torch when I got home from Vancouver yesterday (Saturday). I travelled to Vancouver Friday morning and came back Saturday afternoon.

I had it shipped to my in-laws house who live in Burnaby, BC Yep I married a Canadaian girl...

Okay, I thought you found a page that I could not... Although for me I see no reason to want it because it's produced by CTV so 90% of athlete coverage will be Canadian... I'll wait and hope for a Universal release...

I don't understand your question.

Track and field, swimming, baseball, basketball, hockey, curling, slalom, luge...none of these are judged but they still have commentators.
