Hey everyone:
![]() Recommend a game for everyone who are interested to check plus inquire about a game if you want recommendation for. Rules Are:
I will start: Bioshock 2: ![]() The game IMO starts out slow, or for some reason I wasn't really into it at first. Gradually I began to get consumed by how amazing the game so far. Its intense, suspenseful and keeps you on your toes wondering what's next. There are mission during the game the game where I found it easy to play and others were difficult to pass. Visually its stunning to a certain degree compared to the first. Overall, I give this game a 9.5 so far only because I haven't beat it yet. Game Trailer. Enjoy. ![]() |

Assassin's Creed II
![]() Assassin's Creed II far exceeds the firs game in many ways. The combat is a lot smoother, the graphics are slightly better (though the first had amazing graphics to begin with), and the game is hardly repetitive which was a big complaint about the first. They have added many elements that make the game more interesting such as having more weapons and duel assassin blades. I only have two complaints, the story, while more interesting than the first, did not really catch my attention for the most part. The other complaint is the combat has a bit more tweaking before it becomes more fun, it can at times be a bit tedious. 9/10 Highly Recommended |

Gears Of War 2
![]() Xbox 360 Campaign Co-Op and Horde Mode 10/10 Online Multiplayer 7/10 Gears has some of the best campaigns i have ever played, especially with a friend. and the new Horde Mode is also excellent alone or with friends. unfortunately standard online multiplayer suffers from poor P2P connections. |

Beyond Good and evil
![]() PS2, Xbox, PC This is easily my favorite game of all time. You really need to be a games are art kind of person to really appreciate all this game is. The combat is a bit lackluster, but combat is not what this game is about. The story is great, the character development is awesome, score is beautiful. Never have i had more fun playing a games story mode then i did with Beyond good and evil. The game has some minor camera and movement issues, but nothing i ever found takes away from the experience of playing the game. The only annoying thing can be controlling your hover craft in tight spots, but on open water it's never really an issue. I'm actually in the process of getting 3 of my favorite female characters tattooed on my leg, those being cara, a mord sith from the sword of truth series, death from neil gaimens sandman, and the last is Jade from this game. She's the one on the box cover obviously. If you can find a demo of this game, get it, if not, i recommend buying it anyway, unless story and character driven games scare you cause there isn't 20 gallons of blood on the screen at all times. rating 9.5 It loses half a point just for the stale combat, but the rest of the games awesomeness more then makes up for that |

Dead Space
![]() Xbox 360 or PS3 (I played the 360 version) 3rd Person Shooter/Horror-Survival I was reluctant to play this game initially. I downloaded the demo for the PS3 when the game first came out, but I wasn't blown away by it. As time went by I kept reading great things about it everywhere, and I even found out a friend of mine had played it and he kept telling me how good it was. I finally stumbled on it at Target for $14 so I picked it up. All I can say is WOW! I couldn't believe how much fun it is. The atmosphere is incredible. This is definitely the scariest game I've ever played. The dismemberment approach to killing enemies is an interesting departure from most shooters. There is a nice variety of weapons, and zero-G environments offer an interesting change to the game play. The ability to upgrade weapons/equipment forces you to make decisions that can affect the gameplay later in the game. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes shooters or horror/survival games. 9.5/10 - I deducted half a point because there is no multiplayer support. This game consists of a single player campaign only. |

eh, deadspace had no reason/need for multiplayer. the nature of the game makes it pointless. what, is one person going to play issac clark and the rest play the monsters. Least ya gave it a chance though, i have a friend who claims to love FPS games, but would buy bioshock cause it had no multiplayer i wanted to punch him.

Greatest Game Ever Made in My Opinion 10/10:
![]() That's right I went old school on ya. Lots of people say Ocarina is the greatest Zelda game but I think it is this one. My favorite game of all time. Get it on the SNES if you have one, but it is available on Wii as a download. A great top down adventure, and if you have not played it and you like Zelda you should be ashamed. |

i'll throw 2 more out that make up my all star superstar trifecta of top games, first up
pyschonauts ![]() PC, Xbox, PS2 So once lucas arts started delving into the lets crank out nothing but star wars games business model, there was a genius who worked there by the name of tim Schafer. Once he realized that lucas arts was run by a bunch of idiots, he took his talent and started a company called double fine. Their first game was pyschonauts. You are a kid who breaks into a camp for pyschic solders who go into peoples minds to wage metal war in the person psyche. This game thrives on the amazing world that schafer created and populated with unique characters. even the most tiny bit part is a fully fleshed out character. Some of the game is just a giant scavanger hunt, and the dificulty curve is way out of wack. Most of the game is a sunday stroll down the beach, where the final couple sequence will test your ability not to snap your controller in half. 9/10 it looses a point for some of the repetative scavanger hunts stuff and some frustrating camera work The other is Portal ![]() PC, Xbox 360, ps3 Ah portal. The perfect game. There isn't a single thing wrong with it. It is amazing from begining to end. Basically it's a puzzle solving game, you have a gun that creates 2 portals (see above) you can walk through the portals and move objects through them. Use to solve. Thats it. Portal was concepted as a game called Narbacular Drop by a few students at a tech college for a contest. Valve caught wind of it and hired them to flesh out the concept and what we got was portal. The game is simple, the only character is you and GLADOS, a HAL like AI who is walking you through a series of tests. Portals comedy is so pitch black that your friendly neighborhood goth kid could add it to their wardrobe. it's part of the orange box or seperate on steam and the 2 market places, pick it up if you've never played it cause as i said, it is perfect |

Shining Force 3
Sega Saturn Tactical RPGs can be really fun, but I find Shining Force especially so. Shining Force 3 tells a powerful story ultimately spanning 3 main characters and several really cool supporting. This game will challenge you to use your head and reward you with cool surprise special moves and secret items. Graphics are admittedly old, but good enough to tell the story. Figuring out block-distances takes some getting used to. Turn-based strategy fights stay fun and fresh; just don't expect much from the in-fight voice clips. My only real complaint is that the true, 3-disc version of this game was only released in Japan; US got the first disc only. Thus, much of the story felt incomplete after I played the US release. I really wish Sega would remake this game: console, portable, or whatever, Shining Force fans 'round the world really like to play the whole game. Although.... Shining Force 3 gets a 8.7/10 on the Recommd-o-meter. If you wish to hear more, send PM. |
