Take a look at the specs and features side by side of the two.
You might decide not to wait.

I have seen quite a few experienced comments at AVS.com that the differences and picture quality is not that big different, which led some waiting for, or originally wanting an XBR to go with an A3000.

There had seem to be some issues with the first ones out, but i recieved my KDS-60A3000 last month and threw a calibration disk in and had no geometry or convergence issues.
I am very happy with the set.
