Mods,

Can we get the options to sort movies in the collection (and other listing) by Audio Rating or Video Rating?

Sometimes, you go to your collection and want to pick up a BD among the BDs that have Audio Rating of 5. Instead of opening every movie like we do now, that option will really help.

I just came here to suggest this same thing and figured I'd look through the thread first. I didn't notice it being addressed after this, and didn't look before the post I'm quoting, so apologies if this has already been addressed.

Anyway. As I take advantage of more and more of the great deals listed up in the 'Latest Price Drops' area, it's starting to get a bit crowded with movies I already own. I realize that changes as the deals change, but I still see a lot I already own, and my collection isn't even particularly big yet. It would be nice if it would just show stuff I don't own - and would probably help the site, too, as I'd think it would lead to more affiliate sales as people are exposed to more deals on movies they don't yet have (gee, that's what I really need, too - being tempted to spend more money that I don't have on Blu-ray!).

If it's possible, making it a selectable setting may be best, as some people may want to see movies they already own in the list for whatever reason.

Thanks for all the great work on the site!

You know...I've always wondered why the social groups have "Post Reply" buttons at the bottom only unlike regular threads that have them at the top and bottom.

Just a random observation I thought I'd ask about.

The price difference box is to check the $ amount from which the current price
"Price" and the price you want to pay for the movie "My Price" can differ. Basically, it provides a range for you to consider when purchasing with the difference(actual price vs desired price) bolded in green. However, you will not receive a notification until the actual price is equal to or less than you desired price.

Just an opinion but the scattering of the Entertainment forums is a bit too much. Threads are popping up multiple times across it.

Ex: Right now there's a thread in the Movie's section about Admiral Ackbar being the Ole Miss mascot. The same topic is also in the Sports section.

The Movies and TV need to be recombined. Sports should be a main section with Music and General Chat.

I prefer Movies and Tv being separated.

MUCH easier to find tv news/discussions than when it was combined. Looking at the amount of threads in each section, combined it would be over 95% movies to less than 5% TV.

This idiotic process has got to stop.
I created two threads which has been deleted both times.
Whoever is adding movies has got to be a tool without any sense.
Seriously, why the hell are they being added?
Hello,

They are added on our site for the same reason Amazon lists them - anticipating the release/pre-order date. When specific preliminary release info is dispatched by the content providers, then these entries are updated.

That's weird, I tried adding a space after the link on the first row, we'll see if that fixes it.

Any idea what the issue is?
Did some quick research and sounds like it might be related to AppleWebKit which is used by Safari and Chrome. Are you using either of those two browsers?

This is probably one of the most requested features, so now this info has been added to the wishlists

To get directly to Amazon, simply click on the pricing info.

I'm afraid this is the problem, we only have Amazon purchase links, no advertising, spyware, malware etc, we don't like that

USA Miss the "Cheap"

I miss the "Cheap Titles" or Cheap whatever category. I actually used that to purchase a bunch of titles that I wanted when they got down to the right price. Good for business. It beats going to my watch list and going through all the movies there, even redoing it by price which is easy, it was much easier to click the cheap link and actually see titles. Though I can understand it being hard listing all the under $10 titles (I don't know how anyone keeps up with the current prices 24/7 props to whoever they are). I guess they cut back on the under $10 but if that's what's keeping that section off then why not just make it under $15 there are some pretty nice titles in the $10-15 range.

I'm pretty sure it's based on popularity, since only the popular are bolded. Or something notable like Monsters vs. Aliens 3D re-release.

Aye, we implemented this when we did our first Blu-ray 3D review and when Avatar came out. Reviews of Blu-ray 3D titles and titles with superior Amazon sales rank (lower than 10) will be bolded. We might tweak this in the future, but the idea is to make sure that visitors at least don't miss those reviews.

Yes, that's sort of a nice "side-effect", when a good new deal is announced it usually causes a quite big temporary surge in sales rank. So for example Edge of Darkness and True Blood S2 not only have good sales ranks because they are new releases, it's also because they are attractively priced.

Yes, on your wall on FB. You can post a comment as well. Not sure why the Canadian one did that as far as synopsis but the Apollo 13 is a better example
