And don't worry about leaving Denerim. You will have ample opportunity to return, and it's the largest city in Ferelden, so chances are there is more to the story that involves Denerim (though I don't know how far you've progressed).

I headed to get the ashes. I'm at the gong, and know what will happen based on what I saw in getting up to this point. The avg lvl of the party is 13. And after a trial run seeing what was in store after gonging, I wonder if the gauntlet should be entered first, not knowing what is there.
I have Wynne, Lel and Morg with me. I am a rogue, and have done pretty well throughout most of my travels. This gong fight will be tough for sure. Odd, since everything through the temple seemed mostly easy, albeit slightly overwhelming at times when I wasn't paying attention. Am I the right level for this place (the gong)? Should I go somewhere else and then come back in a level or two? I've yet to go back to Flemeth's hut, which recently opened up. Thoughts? SuD Last edited by standupdad; 02-17-2010 at 06:07 PM. |

that much ranged attacks might be ok, but I got creamed when I tried around that level. I think when you are comfortable with your team you can to the gong and flemeths hut early/mid teens.
keep the healing up, keep attacking and give it a try. ![]() |

WTF!
So I have the trophies for all the main quests (before landsmeet) but I still can't get into the Alienage. Now I can't get back into Arl Eamon's Estate or Fort Drakon. I'm trying to get the Traveler Trophy, and to do the side quests but don't know where I went wrong. I can't get into the alienage to talk to Ser Otto, therefore I can't get into the orphanage. I tried backtracking through quests to see which one I forgot to do in the line that would have gotten me into the alienage, but i'm lost... Edit: ok, so I didn't do the Rescue the Queen quest, somehow I missed it. But how can I start it if I can't get back into Arl Eamon's estate? Is there another way inside other than by the map? Edit 2: [Show spoiler]

I'm a little confused. You completed all of the Wardens' Treaty arcs and returned to Redcliffe (not his Denerim estate) to tell Arl Eamon you were ready to go to Landsmeet. Then you went to Denerim and met up with him there, in his Denerim estate (not the castle in Redcliffe). You say you can't get back into Fort Drakon? If you've been there, you've done the queen rescuing. Please give more details. |

Thanks for all the help guys. I just beat the game about 10 minutes ago and the traveler trophy popped up. I was mistaken in thinking that I needed a certain % before calling the landsmeet. I didn't realize that I had to go to certain places after i'd called it. I was trying not to read too many spoilers.
anyway, thanks! I should have my platinum in a few more days since I have that one down. |

depending on the time you slept with her, it might be part of the massive problem ps3's are having right now. best not to try trophy games until it is resolved.

Return to Ostagar DLC was available yesterday (3/11) for the PS3. I have not downloaded it, yet, so I can not comment. There is also a patch for the PS3 version that I think corrects some issues related to the soon to be released Awakening expansion pack.

Mine should arrive today, but I'm playing Bioshock 2 right now. I'll probably install just to take a look and maybe play Saturday morning. Played Return to Ostagar DLC last Saturday. It was about an hour and pretty easy with some pretty good loot. Look forward to more Ferelden, though. I understand Bioware has more installments planned for the franchise, too.

Well, my question is answered by myself, at least from the outset, the map is new. Whaddya all think? I'm not far in, but the new specializations and abilities make it all worth it.
A review I saw mentioned a new origin story. I don't see it. Is there one? |
