40GB PS3 is using 65nm and quieter according to German Magazine.

Thats weird. The Wall Street Journal printed an article where they said that the PS3 already has the 65nm chip in the 60 and 80 gig models. Its a 45nm chip thats gonna be on the 40 gig. It was the article about Sony selling their chip plant, which makes the Cell, to Toshiba.
