Thats better news than TBS going HD. All they ever show is stretched out comedy reruns.

I will wait til it comes to... wait for it.....Blu-ray. Woot, I've been waiting for that movie forever. I hate watching movies that have everything cut out, with commercials interrupting constantly.

It was HD. They just do that for certain shows, like how ESPN HD does that crap with sports center. Either way Nip/Tuck looks great right now. So I'm glad that you enjoying it the way it was meant to be in HD . I know that I am.

I don't know why this is being discussed on Blu-ray.com, but today is the first day that FX started broadcasting in HD. Until now, FX simply upconverted their programming for DirecTV. Kind of a beta channel if you will. The Speed Channel HD is similar in that it won't have any HD programming on it until next year (January or February), and SpikeTV-HD which DirecTV is supposed to be adding anytime now won't officially be launching (with HD programming) until January or February as well...

"Elektra" and "Fever Pitch" were also shown in HD today... I think "Elektra" was first, making it FX-HD's first HD broadcast.

Because we are allowed to talk about other things. If it bothers you so much, why post in the thread?

I didn't say it bothered me, in fact, I tend to go off on off-topic tangents in threads, so I'd be the last person for it to bother... I just simple felt it was a strange place for it since it focused less on Nip/Tuck (now available on Blu-ray) and more on FX-HD... not that there's anything wrong with that...

And I posted to inform people that today was FX-HD's first "official" day, in case they didn't already know...

Gotcha! The thread was not entitled nip/tuck in HD, but FX in HD. So it doesn't have to pertain just to nip/tuck. We can talk about monster truck trailer park racing in HD on FX if that comes on .
