Samsung BD-P1000 firmware help plz !!!

I figured i'd run that for now and see if it helped , well it spit it back out as well and said the same thing , Disc cannot be played. I called samsung and they wanna send me the newest disc even though i'm sure it wont play and if that doesnt work wanna have me send it in. Anyone else have the same problem or heard of this problem that has a easier fix ?

Have you tried to play other type of media? Audio CD? DVD? just to make sure it's not the player being bad. If it can play the audio cd and a normal dvd then I would think there is something wrong with the update cd's.
