Thor! You got to be kidding me.. Better then ghost rider though .. It seems any marvel character in a movie makes over 100 million.. Minus Electra. So Marvel will put out. We have Capt America too. The Hulk/Spider man/Xmen are no brainers, but the others..Ugh.. What about Ant man next......Only one I'm interested in is Power man and Iron Fist.. Arch rivals.. Constrictor and Saber tooth.. And remake Dare devil.

It's a lot more convoluted than all that. Marvel Studios has made only two movies. Iron man and The Incredible Hulk (with Ed Norton). They have the following in development; Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers.

Many years ago, while Marvel was going through financial hardships they sold off many of their characters to other studios and have little to no say of how the end product is. These include anything X-Men, Fantastic Four, Dare Devil (FOX) and Spider-man and Ghost Rider (Sony).

That's a really simple way of putting it all, but It's not all up to Marvel (Studios) and thus far they are doing a bang up job with the properties they control.

I take it you are not a fan? Of all the heroes I want on screen, Thor is not high on the list on his own; however, they want to do the Avengers and that is going to be superfantasticallyfreakingawesome so I am glad they are doing it. With everything that I have heard, it sounds like it will be really awesome and it will make me want to buy all the Thor comic books out there.

nope, they are on their way to having 3 hits on their hands (counting Iron Man 2) and from the sounds of it, Thor is supposed to be awesome!!!

Thor has always been my favorite the only thing i dont like is he is on par with superman from dc so he should be an even match for the hulk but he doesnt seem to be . When the hulk gets to raged up thor should be able to beat him , brains should beat mindless brawn anyday .

Thor is by far, one of my favorite Marvel characters. I read alot of the Thor comics where he was cursed and "vurnerable", and ended up having to fight the Midgard Serpent. I also own several graphic novels of Thor. I love the Hulk Vs. blu-ray, until he gets pounded by the Hulk. I agree that he should be able to hang with the Hulk a little better than he did, and rather this movie craps out or not, I will be there.

actually, Thor is not on Hulk's level. At all. He could PROBABLY beat the Grey Hulk/Mr. Fixit, but Savage Hulk/Hulk Smash Hulk? Nope.

Thor starts out beating Hulk's brains in....with Mjolnir. Hulk tells him that he's only winning the fight because the of the hammer. Thor scoffs at the notion, throws it away, and Hulk proceeds to absolutely DEMOLISH Thor for the rest of the comic. He even throws a train on top of the Thunder God, for Christ's sake!

That first fan poster looks pretty cool but the expression on his face ruins the second. Pretty decent skill on who ever made those.

I don't know if Thor is supposed to be stronger than Hulk. I've always heard Superman matched against Hulk.

Are you curious to hear what Kenneth Branagh’s Thor looks like? A user named IndustryKiller posted the following description in the comments of an AICN tackback. While I can’t 100% confirm the following to be legit, and it sounds in line with what industry friends have been telling me.

Quote:
Everyone looks absolutely perfect, right down tot he color scheme. ANd its straight up medieval future tech looking. And yes Loki has black straight hair even know Hiddleston is blonde and curly. THor is balls accurate though complete with cape, chain mail arms, the circles going down the front of the torso, and winged helmet. I’ve seen the costumes, and they did absolutely [frick]ing nail it. Very Walt Simonson. And I think my reputation as someone very critical of most comic book films procedes me here so I’m not just some excited fanboy. The only thing that is funny about Loki’s costume is that while its gold and has the big horns sticking out, the helmet part of it, meaning the part that actually touches his head, kind of looks like a bicycle helmet, I think more so that it would, practically speaking, stay comfortable on the actor and not move around due to the horns. The warriors three are also the same kind of medieval future tech look, a little less traditional than the comic but still very very awesome and the look of each of the actors themselves is [frick]ing dead on. Ray Stevenson looks especially cool in a chubby suit. Trust me, I think everyone here is going to be very very pleased as Branaugh just more or less adapted the comic. I was surprised at how well the looks work when translated into reality.
Thor might be my least anticipated Marvel production so far, but it sounds like they may have nailed the look.

Every indication thus far is pointing to Branagh and his team doing a fantastic job

True. Nobody is on the Hulks level, but I thought that he should have put up a little more of a fight. Thor is still one of my favs. I think if he was as savage and brute as the Hulk, it would be a better fight. Thor can be an arrogant buffoon at times, and that is a weakness easily played upon.

I would say that to the general public Thor is the least popular of the 4 of Hulk, Iron Man, Cap and Thor but I will guarantee that Thor will be the best movie of the 4. Branagh is going to own this!
