June seems kind of far off for a February theatrical release. I was hoping to get this in May. Saw it in the theaters and like it a lot. Not great but would purchase so that I have it in my BD library. Plus I really like Timothy O. Justified is great!

You are right.

I've seen the trailer for this a hundred times on HDNet. My mind is in the gutter in the moment.. It doesn't help watching a bunch of classic George A. Romero horror trailers off YouTube... I know he made the original Crazies (never seen it) and when people think of Romero, they think zombies... I'm sure that's how I got things mixed up

and yes, I know about 28 Days/Weeks Later and the virus outbreak

I will most likely netflix this, then decide to buy or not. (That's basically what I do on about 90% of all new releases.)

OK just an FYI. This movie IS NOT a Zombie movie. Neither is 28 Days/Weeks Later. These films are in the genre of Virus movies. While on the topic Evil Dead is a Demon movie not a Zombie movie.

This is retardedly nitpicky.

It is a zombie movie, plain and simple. There isn't a textbook definition of "zombie" that every single movie has to strictly adhere to.

It's a zombie movie, just a different kind of zombie movie.

As well as that may be Virus and Zombie movies are not the same plain and simple. People just throw it into the Zombie pile cause they're to ignorant to learn the difference.

I saw this at the theater and I thought it was good. Nice tension and suspense throughout. It's Chock full of scares, people behaving weird and conspiracy stuff too.

I hope the preliminary audio listed on this disc is in fact a PCM 5.1 track. I thought the days of PCM were long gone in favor of the compressed lossless codecs; DTS HD MA & Dolby TrueHD.

I picked up this title on pre-order from Amazon since I liked it at the movies so much.

Horrible move. It is plagued with the same shitty storytelling like every other recent horror movie release.

Main characters who scream at the worst moments? Check.
Retarded people who split up when they know shit is going bad? Check.
Trusting people who you should have just shot from the get-go? Check.

A decent story idea, nothing original but it started out okay, but like just about every other horror movie released in the last 10 years, the story quickly degrades when shit hits the fan. Can someone tell me

I think I'm just going to have to pay someone to make a realistic horror movie. One where people shut the hell up when there are enemies around.

A zombie can be either a mindless human or a re-animated dead body. In the original Night Of The Living Dead it was radiation from a space probe that came back to earth that created the zombies. so be it virus or radiation a zombie is a zombie.
