I know this is a really popular show and a lot of people really wanted it on blu-ray and now they get there wish. I have only seen a few episodes but what I did see I really liked so I will have to pick this up.

nice! only been able to catch a few episodes, but they were all hysterical. will probably pick this up when the price is right.

this show is so well written and clever. Cam is so funny lol one of the best new shows on TV.

as much as i'm glad this is coming to BD, i find it amazing at how THIS type of show gets on BD (a familyish sitcom) but we're all still waiting on 24 season 1 (and many other seasons) - which would be great on blu.

now, i know different companies and blah blah blah, but still. i find it humorous how that works out.

as a side note, i hope the pre-order price drops about $20. then i'll pick it up day 1.

Well this is ABC's third show to come to BD, where as other networks like CBS and Fox already have a couple out. Modern Family is on it's first season and it's a popular show and 24 is an older show and the last season was put on BD. Season 1 is listed on the site but no release date. It just takes time.

I find it funny that shows like Big Bang Theory make it to BD, because I personally find it to be painfully unfunny.

You might find it unfunny, but plenty of other people don't because it is the number one sitcom on television.

I'll definitely own this, but knowing ABC, Season 2 will be on standard DVD only -- sort of like what they did with Season 5 of Grey's Anatomy.

Modern Family is produced by 20th Century Fox. ABC plays no role in deciding whether it will be on Blu-ray.

I'm fully aware of that, there's shows I like that I know other people don't like. I'm just saying that I don't understand how. I feel there are more qaulified shows

Modern Family is the only TV show that I watch on regular basis. Great show! I'll be getting this when it comes out.
