I never though that this was a big deal. Truth is Blockbuster sucks and is getting owned all the time by Netflix. That would be a win.

actually blockbuster is a serious threat to netflix due to store exchanges if you dont feel like mailing the movie back.b&m is netflix's weakness even tho they did have a head start with movie by mail.i still have a netflix for anime and international movies

Blockbuster actually announced this week something along the lines of their 'total access' thing being a big failure. They felt they were focusing too much on that, so they are going to go back to their main focus on higher overall membership for stores.

i guess it ended up costing them more doing those in store exchange.

It did cost them - plenty! But they did add many new store customers through the plan. I believe my wife said that they received $1 on movie exchanges (that's on a new release) from corporate - and that was coming from what they received from the online memberships.

i was close on closing my netflix in exchange to blockbuster but netflix's movie library is what kept me from staying with them.my cousin thos is starting to hate his bb since he always gets his movies late as opposed to when he had netflix before.

Haven't ever had a problem with movie turn around - that was my problem with Netflix. And since we started with the Blockbuster program early we have no limit on the store exchange - something that is now changed with the new memberships

Netflix is far and above the best way to go for Anime - I do miss their selection.
