That sounds harsh, but it isnt meant to be either.

Sophisticated arrows? Who made them, the blue people wearing loinclothes who havent even invented INDOOR PLUMBING yet?
I'm just going by what one thing said. Do I know that they did or didn't have bulletproof glass for sure? No. Do you? Nope.

Good luck with that. Just because you think you're right doesn't make it so. I've given more than enough for it to actually be possible. Believe it or don't. This is starting to border on the annoying.

You are right, I do not KNOW that they had bulletproof glass. But simple ligic would dictate that they would. They have machine guns and rocket launchers. They are military.

One thing for sure, they have
[Show spoiler]arrowproof glass

You certainly aren't alone in your view of the film--I'm glad it really rang true for you.

There's no denying that it's an excellent quality blu-ray.

Currently, and for some time, all military canopies are constructed of a bullet resistant material. We can safely assume that in 2154, they still do, AND are probably a more sophisticated material.

The helicopters were equipped machine guns, so we can safely assume they were military in design and intended function.

You guys couldnt be more deeply in denial. Pandora smoochers.

You are presuming they are bullet proof based off of today's designs though (which is obviously a logical assumption), but if bullets did indeed go through them quite easily in the film (which I don't remember, someone could check on that if they want, I believe Disturb3d is scheduled for his 1894639486278th viewing soon )....then it might as well have gone through all of your calculations

Meaning all those vehicles and everything else belongs to the company, and thus wouldn't fall under military construction standards.

Unless I am mistaken and it was explicitly stated that the choppers were military crafts.

And if it was stated and they are....the top of my post still applies

The Wrestler - Just watched it last night.. Still processing my review a bit. It was entertaining and depressing and a I know I'll never watch it again. I feel like I'm supposed to say "it is very good". I liked it, just not as great as all the hype.

His production company was responsible for this garbage, and like all Platinum Dunes productions, he is very involved in these films from the development stage on. But, in the spirit of fairness, the rest of the d-bags involved in this crap-fest can get on the boat w/ him.

Cuz I had movie cash that came w/ the ANOES BD. Got to see the Predators trailer, so it wasn't a total loss.

The Predators trailer is online man and I bought the original Nightmare and got the movie cash and I wouldn't even bother using it.

It's ok man. We all suffer awful movies. DOn't fall for the remakes unless they are getting good reviews.

Trust me when I say that I would NEVER have paid to see this crap-azz movie, and would have only done so if reviews would have beem universally positive (which they haven't......except for Harry Knowles, but he's never met a principle he wouldn't toss out the window if the price was right).

I'm sure we'll be seeing an onslaught of positive reviews on here from the same people who think the Halloween/Friday The 13th remakes were way better than the originals, and that's OK, as long as they know they're wrong.

We all make our movie ticket mistakes. My last MEGA DUD at the theater (I don't consider rentals as bad as the liability of paying for a rental is far less) was watching Drag Me to Hell, there was absolutley nothing else I could fit into my time slot so I watched it with one other person in the entire theater.

The Day the Earth Stood Still
Movie 3.5/5
PQ 5/5
AQ 5/5
Overall 4/5

While the story is kinda weird and poorly wrote i still enjoyed Keanu Reeves in The Day the Earth Stood Still. It quite an experience if you have a 5.1 or 7.1 HT. The PQ and AQ are amazing and very detail. Overall i would Recommend this movie just based on the technical side of the movie.
