I stopped watching because I was losing interest after the first couple of shows but I will probably go online somewhere and start watching again.

Being a massive Deadwood fan, I LOVED every scene between Timothy and W. Earl Brown as the convict because they had so many heated and intense confrontations with Timothy again wearing a badge and gun lol. I think between Kurt Sutter's recent claim that he has employed half of the Deadwood cast on Sons of Anarchy and now Graham Yost employing the other half on Justified, FX has officially given every member of the Deadwood crew work. Now if only Garrett Dillahunt would show up on one of them...........

Yup, I think after a rough go early on, the show has finally hit it's stride and gotten better each week.

Absolutely fantastic news!! They must have realized how great Timothy and Walton play off each other, because this is excellent news!!!!

Quote:
Walton Goggins becomes series regular on 'Justified'

Guess Boyd Crowder is going to stick around for little while longer.

After almost killing off his character in the pilot, the producers of FX's "Justified" have elevated the terrific Walton Goggins to a series regular on the show.

"He's amazing and he's just a great guy," said showrunner Graham Yost. "There had to be charm in 'Boyd.' We knew with 'Boyd,' going in, that who we cast was critical for the success of the pilot, therefore getting it to become a series. So Goggins' casting was really instrumental. Without him, we wouldn't be on the air. "

"It just made sense on so many levels," says Goggins. "I've been a fan of executive producer Graham Yost's work, as well as Timothy Olyphant, for a long time. That coupled with an opportunity to be back with my family at FX and play in Elmore Leonard's sandbox was just too good to pass up."

"Justified" just received a pickup for a second season on the network.

My cable provider hasn't had the last 3 episodes up on demand. Anyone else have that problem?

I think we should celebrate the news with some fried chicken and bourbon.

That's precisely what I had for dinner. But I usually have bourbon with every meal. Maker's Mark though, the only bourbon I drink.

Yeah when I saw Malik's name in the credits I was like "damn! Last time I saw him was NYU, bet Czar is loving this right now" .

Also I don't know why in the hell he didn't register with me before, but I was sitting there tonight trying to figure out who the hell Winona's husband is, and FINALLY I realized why the name William Ragsdale looked so familiar earlier in the credits. MOTHER F*CKIN' Fright Night!! LMAO, I've been posting the last few weeks about the remake and didn't even bother to think about Ragsdale and the fact that he's on Justified now.

Also, anybody else out there who's seen Eurotrip, and knows Jacob Pitts who plays Tim the sniper in several episodes here, co-starred with the fella who played Billy Mack in tonight's episode. I was kinda hoping for a little reunion, but alas, no dice.

I'm sitting there thinking, I know Winona's husband, but it seems like it's from something he was in over 20 years ago, I just have this image of him being so much younger, and than I yelled out BREWSTER!!!! LMFAO, that was a serious moment of flashback. Still don't like his character, he's putting that sweet little peach in jeopardy a few times already, and Raylan looked like he was gonna cry at the end when she embraced him as he Raylan watched from the car. I was like damn, you're gonna make the cowboy cry.....

My only complaint was that the massive beating Billy Mack put on Toby........

I watch a lot of fights and boxing, and have never seen a featherweight with enough power to drop somebody so fast that was twice their size. Not to mention he went to town on Toby's head with a tea pot, only to show him minutes later without a mark on the back of his head, which they implied was being crushed by it.

Yeah, Billy Mack will always be Jamie from Eurotrip to me, the nerd who drank Absinthe and made out with his sister, carried a little travel money velcro waist band, and was one of the biggest nerds ever, so seeing him as a "bad ass," made me laugh.

One good knee in the clinch and momma needs to sew you a new eyebrow.

The one thing I do wonder is what the show does with Winona now. Winona's speech about why she loves Gary, and then the "Stand By Your Man" ending, makes it clear she has no intention leaving Gary. So with her happily married, and her jeopardy resolved, what role does she have in the series? Does she just show up now and again while Raylan's walking through the courthouse to talk about his problems? Does she become some kind of platonic confidant? Or does she go back to being marginalized once "Justified" focuses back in on Ava and the Crowders?

I laughed when Raylan subconsciously moved to take off his hat when he entered Wynn's office, and than realizing it wasn't there, just brushed his hand through his hair.

That's a very good question. I hope she doesn't get marginalized since I like her character better than Ava, but I'm sure they know what they're doing. I'm thinking the fact that we will be getting regular Raylan and Boyd scenes now since he's a regular will almost make us forget about Winona missing.

I noticed that too. It was a nice little touch there since I'm sure he's so used to having the hat on.
