Wow Diesel I know u hate it right now! The girl u hated the most will win! Haha. Crystal murdered Lee lastnight! She will win easily. Lee disappointed me. He will still get a deal and make good music but Crystal is this years American Idol. I always thought her and Siobhan were the best two girls anyway so Im ok with her winning as she was in my top 4 of fav's for the season along with Lee, Siobhan, & Big Mike. Got Em!!

If you haven't seen the finale yet and don't want it ruined, do not read past this sentence!

So finale.....

2% difference between Lee and Crystal....that's a much smaller gap than other polls I've seen.

Alice Cooper on American Idol??? Wonder how that phone call went...."Yes, Mr. Cooper, we'd like you to appear on American Idol."

The Simon Cowell flashback was "cute".

The Bee Gees!!! Finally someone with talent on this show!!!

"If I have to hear "Yamo Be There" one more time, I'm going to "Yamo" burn this place to the ground."

For those who don't want to go back...

Lee DeWyze is the new Amercian Idol!

While Crystal was the better performer I do think Lee has more commercial possibilities.

Anyways....hopefully next season will be a little better...as this season was lackluster overall.

Haha. A fitting end to a mediocre season. I don't think he'll do as badly as Taylor Hicks (or whatever that gray-haired guy's name is), but I can't imagine him doing very well after this.

David Cook was far more talented, and any career he had after winning has since fizzled out.

Crystal may not have universal appeal, but I think she might actually have an audience who would buy her records.

OMG...An agonizing two hours, just to find out the results, no way did this show needed 2hrs 10 min...from the Dane Cook fiasco to the whole pants thing

I bet my mom a large pizza that he would win....so that makes it better

I really like the way the guy sings, and really liked Katie and Big Mike (Casey was good too) and they each (except for Mike, he actually peaked too early) got better as the competition (one of my first posts on the thread says the best of the bunch are just mediocre)...but this season was definitely lackluster compared to other seasons.

No one was excellent on the level of Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, David Cook even (speaking of...where was he with the rest of the winners?).
