I'm looking forward to this week's results as well. There is no question that blu-ray has maintained its lead in the last week. What I really want to see is the impact of Spiderman...hopefully this will shoot blu-ray back to where it was before the release of Transformers (maybe even do better).

Actually, *last* week took forever! Typically, it's just after 9:00 AM Mountain Time (Colorado Rocky Mountains for those of you living elsewhere around the globe).

This week's curiosity is obviously going to be the margin of victory--unlike the previous two weeks when we didn't know if we were going to win or not. (Glad that sort of waiting is over with for the forseeable future.)

People are underestimating Spiderman 3. It is a long awaited title. It's performance is kind of lackluster on Amazon for several reasons

• You have the SM3 as a new release competing with the Trilogy box set
• Amazon has been having some shipping problems
• Best Buy's price was better than Amazon's, so I canceled with Amazon and bought it at Best Buy

This is based on what I saw last week at B&M's. Get ready to be pleasantly surprised.

I'll take their shipping problem any day. Bought my Spidy Box set on Monday and it was here on Thursday, in Canada, no less!

Like I said, I'm happy to believe you if you've got good info, but I'm pretty sure you're still talking to the bottom PR level people who are still under the old rules of the game that left with Nickerson

Probably sounds dramatic, but it really bothers me that one of the only forums i can go to as a BD owner and post openly (please see my posting history) is now turning into somethin like HDD and AVS with these types of witchhunts. Dude, I made one cute comment, mainly trying to draw attention to what Wicky said, and you FREAKED out, like I had called you a bastard and ****** your mother. I think if you hadn't acted so defensive, especially since you weren't attacked in the first place, the rest of the crazlies here wouldn't have jumped on you. Now it's the whole "he doth protest too much" routine. Personally, I don't think you said anything out of line, BUT I do think you are freaking out. It looks bad. Relax and wait for the numbers, everything is going to be ok... Ok?

Numbers-wise, I'm conflicted. I'm really pessimistic, but Wicky's confidence make me wobbly! I'm gonna be safe and stick to my original 65 prediction. But I am (not so) secretly hoping for much higher.
