True.On mine it's the second soundtrack-which I find strange.Why not put it to the first available track since that's what the player is using as default?Is it because some players/setup don't work with DD trueHD?

Probably because the DD track can't be taken from a TrueHD stream. You have to have two separate tracks, one for DD and one for DD TrueHD. This is why most of the studios have gone to strictly using DTS-HD Master Audio. The regular DTS track can be pulled from the Master Audio track so that's more space on each disc that can be used for audio tracks in other languages.

With Dolby TrueHD, it can pretty much work the same way. The only difference is that the lossy track isn't integrated back into the lossless track. But if you select Dolby TrueHD while only having Dolby Digital capabilities, it'll automatically play the Dolby Digital track. Which is why Paramount, WB, Sony... they all just have the "English" language option now (instead of having 2 English options).
