The use of organic dye is only for BD-R/RWs not for BD-ROM, which is for BD movies and BD games.

This is STILL good news because this will encourage more CEs to produce more BD burners because they anticipate that the cost savings on the BD blanks will be passed on to consumers. MORE BD burners will lead to lowering of the price of the burners, which will lead to more usage of BD blanks.
