The dutch version is pretty neat !

At the back the glued a paperback. Under the paper is just some artwork from the movie.

the steelbook looks nicer without the info-paper sticked to the back.

Mine arrived yesterday but I wasn't home to sign for it so the Postwoman took it away.

Default The Nightmare Mediadis has become

Anyone know what is going on with them? Years ago they were awesome, My last 4 orders have been a nightmare. They bill when you order and refuse to refund when out of stocks happen. I finally got an email reply after several attempts and having my Visa dispute a charge to get a refund I was promised.

No for Total recall, they supposedly shipped, but no sign of them
I have lost all faith in them

That really sucks! I'm sure they're gonna lose some buisness like that. Very unprofessional

Regarding this 'Uncut' title, a guy on this thread is asking about the uncut status... got me curious too.

what does the 'uncut' label on this mean? does it mean its longer than any other version available? I've only ever seen the Australian DVD/Blu-Ray ... is that 'cut' ? or am I right in thinking its only labeled 'uncut' because it was previously cut?

The uncut version has all the bloody violence still in the movie. The cut version is toned down. Hope that answers your question.

Not really, but thanks.

I understand 'cut' refers to films being toned down in violence, but what exactly was 'cut' in the first place? I thought the only version that existed, was the US R rated version.

You're right. But here in Europe (Germany) there exsists a cut version of the movie. There are no OTHER versions except R rated. This is the version, they cutted.

the steelbook is available in NL (uncut), CH (uncut) and Germany (cut).

Mediadis actually went bankrupt at the end of last year.
The website is now run by Free Record Shop (Dutch company, http://www.freerecordshop.nl/).
Mediadis as such no longer exists, they just kept the name.
