This hits it on the head exactly. Idiocracy is not funny after the first watch. Same with office space somewhat. They both get way better with repeat viewings. So many funny lines in both of them. Sadly I don't think Extract has that same thing going for it.

Also Beavis and Butthead was a cultural phenomenon. As juvenile as the show was it had a huge impact. I still hear people use lines from the show.
