The first time I watched it was just so painful. I wanted to like it, I generally like Judge's work and I loved the beginning, but then it just got worse and worse and I sat through the whole thing hoping it would get better...and it didn't. Extract was just a complete disappointment though. Mike Judge and Jason Bateman; what could go wrong? Everything.

This hits it on the head exactly. Idiocracy is not funny after the first watch. Same with office space somewhat. They both get way better with repeat viewings. So many funny lines in both of them. Sadly I don't think Extract has that same thing going for it.

Also Beavis and Butthead was a cultural phenomenon. As juvenile as the show was it had a huge impact. I still hear people use lines from the show.
