Dang, 2:49 minutes long? Hope they went easy on the BD-J. I don't want to spend half that time waiting for it to load.

Sigh, another "must have" to complete the trilogy.

Was this movie any good? All of the reviews I read said it sucked so my wife and I did not see it in the theatre. Is it really worth owning?

I felt the climactic naval combat at the end could've been spectacular. Then again, I like all 3, and will be picking it up on the 4th guaranteed.

If it was the same length as all the others, the reviews would have been raving. Only reason it got bad reviews was for it's length. People are too damn critical these days.

A lot of people I asked, and several reviews, said that the movie did not have enough Johnny Depp in there. Guess Kira Knightly and Orlando Bloom can only take the film so far.

The only reason it got bad reviews was because like Matrix Rev, it's 2.5 hours of ending, which does not make a great standalone movie, and it wasn't whimsical like the first 2. The big finale for a trilogy is always the weakest (notable exceptions, ROTK and Episode 3, which was the best of the bunch)

Critics hate long movies, its true. When Zodiac came out every critic complained that it was too long. Same with the LOTR trilogy. Critics are dumb asses if they cant see quality in quantity. Personally I love longer movies. I cant wait for POTC3!!! I dont remember it being this long in theaters though...hmm...some added footage maybe? I dunno....
