I sent the dude an email and said he should have done a 1 day listing. I placed a bid of 20.00 bucks but it looks like he made up a ebay user id today to bid it up, profile was created today

How do we know it isn't just the HD DVD sleeve on a Blu-ray case? Can anyone find a decent picture of the back cover of the HD DVD version to see if it's the same as this "Blu-ray" version?

Why are all these garbage HD DVD-only movies getting so much play?

If Paramount releases a HD DVD pack of the 10 worst movies of all time, will there be 1,000 threads about that too?

In his description he writes "Here it is, the most sought after Blu ray movie."

Gimme a break. Movie was ok but not a "Must Have" Blu IMO.

Yeah, the movie was not that great, but that's not the point.

This movie was slated to be released on Blu-Ray and then got pulled by Paramount due to the deal they made with the HD-DVD camp. This makes the blu-ray version extremely rare; so at this point in time it is all about the bragging rights of owning the BD release of this movie regardless of how bad it was.

Yeah people are kind of missing the point. This isn't about the quality of the movie this is about these aren't even supposed to exist.

I am surprise anyone would have this. How did they get it is what I want to know. Could it be a fake? Or more likely a foreign release? Or did it just escape the vault of Blu-ray at Paramount.

I'll bet that Paramount has a whole warehouse full of Blu-Ray discs that were manufactured, but they can't sell.

It's a pity Paramount sold it's soul to the devil, as IMO Paramount releases were quite good. Untouchables and Black rain being a good example.

Maybe they'll release the stocks when the deal is up??? If so this collectible item will plummet in value overnight.

Am I the only one that finds this is even more evidence that Paramount was paid off? They actually got to the point of manufacturing the discs then all of a sudden they are HD DVD exclusive?

The funny thing is that this title isn't even in the top 100 HD DVDs on play.com, HD DVDers have no interest at all in it!
