Default which display is less crap?No 1080p available for me

Sorry to bother. I have a question for which I guess I shuold give a little background info. I don't live in the us. I have to suffer from the price difference for developing countries. So if a sony kld 40xbr2 is 1700$, I'd have to spend 3330$!! a ps3 40gb is 60$ etc. I guess you get the point. So the tvs I can afford should be priced at 2000$ at the most. Unfortunately the only model available at that price are: philips lcd 42pfl5332, samsung lcd ln-40r71b, sharp lcd42043u, AOC l42w665,Samsung Bordeaux LN40R71B, and sony kdl-40s2000.

It's sad only these crappy options are available and at that over price. But I rather have one of those than watch my more than 20 bluray discs in a 20" display.

I would REALLY appreciate any feedback on these options.

Thanks a bunch.
