Where did you hear that?? I'm no electronics expert nor do I have a PHD, but I am a chemist by trade and I have never heard of any poisonous or volatile organic compounds in consumer electronics. As far as I know, electronics and heavy machinery usually only create a very small amount of ozone which can hardly be considered toxic.
