Having a bad disc does not cause programming issues. Bad coding does that. The glitches are not even a big deal. They don't cause any problems.

Love it! I was thinking maybe a little more brutal than that, but that's still the most brutal and best of all, it's not always going to be the same. Good.

Hopefully they're holding some animations back for later and hits unique to each weapon.

I think it was that Herman dude in an E3 interview said so far there are 7 new melee animations

And you know they are programming issues...how?

If there's a database that says "Spawn guy at X, Y, Z", and you have a quirky disc that has a problem reading Z, you get a guy standing way up in the air.

Yes, yes...things are never that simple. But I too have never even heard of Killzone 2 glitches like you describe, but you immediately jump to proclaiming bad coding by GG.

Calm down guys.

It's not a big deal. Just because there are a COUPLE of non-important glitches, that doesn't mean that GG is bad at coding. Every game has glitches like these that don't affect gameplay negatively.

The disc does not read the code, the laser reads the code. There are no issues with the disc, nor the laser. It's not the end of the world.

You do realise discs can be burnt bad right? In that case it is a problem with the disc. And if you are getting multiple glitches that other people do not experience then that is most likly what has happened. If it was bad coding everyone would experience the glitch.

Not exactly. Like I said, I have only experienced a couple of glitches which are insignificant and do not affect gameplay. There is no need to get all up in arms about it.

We are not getting "Up in arms" about it. We just want you to understand it's not bad programming or we would all experience it, when in this instance only you are.

Only two of you have responded to my report of said glitches. Two people out of the million who have bought the game is not very much. It's not a big deal so you don't need to worry about it.

I like the variations on melee, I just hope it isn't the same onld "one button instant kill" like every other shooter. Its so annoying to always lose a gun fight to a knife.
