Well guys, its official. My PS3 borked out on me. It happened just like *snaps fingers* that. I just put in MGS4 and before it could load it, it went out on me. Looks like I won't be able to join you guys.

My new slim that I've owned since Nov. or so has been freezing on me now and then - it's really scaring me since I've had a PS3 breakdown already.

If this one breaks down on me within a couple of years, I'll probably just say "screw it" and stop gaming. I have no time for electronics lasting only a couple of years.

Hopefully, my freezes are internet related or something. . . scary stuff.

My 60GB PS3 (with the 320) barfed just before 3 years.

I bought a Drake's but the whole removing Linux thing had me retire that one while I'm watching the various hacks and stuff. I bought a Slim. If it dies, it will be my last one... unless a satin silver comes out, I probably won't be able to resist that...

I'm still kinda hoping a class action gains traction, myself.

I had heard rumors about Uncharted 2 killing 60 gigs - don't know if that was true - but that was when mine died.

As for Warhawk - wish I could have devoted 4-5 days to those tournements - would have loved the champion blade - guess my GGL Blade will have to do.
