Can someone explain why Paramount wouldnt just give us a date on when this will be released and how we differentiate between the two?

I'm going to shoot in the dark here and say the US discs are not ready and it would be best to wait before giving out a release date and details. Otherwise, consumers would be playing a much longer waiting game with more irritation.

I'm pretty sure the "flaming" is an intentional effect. That's been argued multiple times.

Universal UK are offering a replacement scheme too but are saying the disc will be available in about a month, so the US disc might be the same.

When I called earlier I spoke to a live person . . . probably the same woman everybody else has mentioned, although she was very nice to me. She said they would get my information and the whole process should be done in about 3 weeks or so. Not too shabby. I'm pretty excited to check this out!

Still waiting and I called them once the number was posted.

I suspect it will take a few weeks to get the new disc.

Just tried calling the Paramount # and got a message saying "mailbox for consumer issues is full". Anyone else run into this yet and if so, how else can you go about contacting them for the replacement?
