A couple questions I was hoping someone could answer:
1) Is there a way to get SCVs to just auto-repair any mechanized unit close by? Or is there an "repair-move" (like attack-move) function for SCVs? 2) Speaking of attack-move, is there a more advanced functionality I'm not aware of? What are people doing when they're micro-ing hit and runs? Are they just right-clicking and when their units come to a halt they auto-attack anything nearby, then the user just right clicks elsewhere so they move again? Rinse and repeat? Thanks in advance |

I'm still debating if I should pick up my reserved copy tomorrow, I hated the Beta because it wouldn't let you just practice and I like building massive army's/ bases, but obviously thats not how people online play where they just attack you like 2 minutes in.

well, rest assured that you will be able to mass all you want in the full game. Besides single-player campaign, you have custom matches where you can play any multi-player map against 1-X amount of comps (and friends).

1) Right-click the repair icon to auto-repair.
2) What I do is hit the Patrol hotkey behind the group I want to attack. Then after the attack animation, I right-click away immediately. Rinse and repeat. Quote:

I was never that great, but there was nothing funnier than taking out an entire squadron of battlecruisers/carriers with a (muta) decoy followed by wave(s) of scourges. I also loved playing around with hallucination and arbiter recall.

My favorite starting off tactic against an opponent while playing Protoss is pretty fun, you run over with one of your Probes and create stuff behind their base near their resources and just blow them up right off the bat with Photon Cannons. If you kill their resource gatherers then the game is essentially won without too much stress. Logan |

yeah, I'm going with campaign first. Blizzard games always have pretty engaging narratives. Love reading the instruction booklets for the lore too (got the strategy guide just so I have something to look at while I wait for my new computer).

If you're a Zerg fan, I'd suggest gathering with your 4 gatherers first, until you hit 200 mineral, then take one of those gatherers and build a spawning pool. As soon as the spawning pool gets made, immediately make zerglings and rush the opponent. Logan |
