WW is a tall amazon and she needs to act the part properly and have some physical abilities. Let's make some distance between what we want to see in a WW movie rather than what we desire as our bedroom fantasies.

They made a huge mistake not doing the Justice League movie. First it would have established an actress in the role of WW without the additional burden of carrying the movie. Second they would have gotten feed back as to how the character was written and use that to write the solo movie. The problem is they have no clue how to write the character. Theyre afraid to make too butch or too girly. As with any movie they want her to appeal to the widest audience and its just a tough nut to crack.

It would be interesting to see the Joss Whedon script. Since he's all about empowered woman and it was rejected out of hand, it would give us some idea what they r trying to come up with. Regardless of what they come up with, she wont have a butt bigger than Themyscira.

She needs to make fight scenes look real. The days of Linda Carter nearly tipping over when she spins around is over. No one wants tight shot and stunt doubles with hidden faces.

I still think Bridget Regan is the perfect choice.

Lynda Carter was great for her time. However, a new movie has to be VERY far from the TV series. I picked up the TV series months ago (used to watch it as a kid) and every time she turns into WW it's hard not to break out into laughter.

I don't care who they have do it so long as the story line is good and whoever is cast for the role of WW has the look and the physical ability to pull it off. With a movie like this a new comer might be a good choice.

I agree with you on the Justice League movie. I personally believe if done properly it would create hype the lesser characters. Marvel is walking on DC when it comes to live action films. DC really only has Batman now and I know some liked Superman Returns but in my mind there hasn't been a good Superman movie since Superman II. Marvel has Spider-Man, Iron Man, the X-Men, and the Incredible Hulk and are working on more movies. Hopefully DC get on the boat and follow suit as I personally would rather see a JL movie over an Avengers movie.

IMO Superman and WW have the same limitation: its hard to translate super strength on the screen. Sure u see them acting against inanimate objects like Supes helping a plane land, but when it comes to the fight against the bad guy its not very super. They need to take a lesson from the animated versions and make these characters strong. Give them strong opponents to fight. let them cut loose. Hulk only worked because he was cgi. Maybe they arent prepared to go that far but they r a long ways from making me believe it isnt an actor in a suit.

As for Marvel vs DC, next year will be the key. If Thor and Captain America out perform Green Lantern it will be telling. Personally, I thought Marvel had shot it's big guns. My too big comic books were Spidey and Green Lantern and my teams were X-men and Fantastic Four. I was never much into the Avengers or their individual members. I assumed DC had a lot of its big names in reserve while the best of Marvel was already out there. If Thor and Captain America r big u have to think Avengers will be too. That will put Marvel way ahead.

I agree with what one entertainment writer said: the only proper way to cast Wonder Woman is to take a sample of Lynda Carter's DNA and make a clone of her. If you consider how long it's taking to get this movie off the ground, we'll have the time to do it
