It is 5.1, it always has been, it's the standard for all BBC box sets. It won't be confirmed because it's what the BBC does all the time.

Yes, the voulmes are 2.0, but that has been the same for every single series of new Doctor Who, just the same as the box sets have always been 5.1. What makes you think this series will be any different, especially if it's the first to be filmed in HD, bar the specials? I've looked at various websites and they allo say 5.1. I think you're being too causious.
