In fact, alot of hardcore HD DVD fans made it their mission to see that my first eBay auction was taken down (and it was on the 5th day at $550 - I should have made it 3 days instead of a week).

You may think it's crazy, but if my auction had not been taken down, it would have likely hit the $1,000 mark for one copy.

Believe me, the guy who found that copy (and the packaging looks dead on) will not have any trouble selling it.

I'm sure he's been flooded with offers for up to $700 for it.

The reason it upset HD DVD fanboys so much is that it revealed a lot of ugly truths about the Paramount switch to HD DVD exclusivity. Its existence showed that the switch was not the product of careful and deliberate planning but a sudden and hasty dropping of Blu-ray for a large payout from Toshiba. Why else would Paramount have mastered, pressed, and apparently shipped to retailers the BD version, only to pull them at the last minute? It shows that Paramount had no intention of dropping Blu-ray until Toshiba/Microsoft paid them off with $150 million. Your BDs of "Blades Of Glory" are the smoking gun of the payoff...Sell them now because in 15 months I expect them to be reissued on Blu-ray.
