Watched: Kick Ass
Movie: 5/5
VQ: 3.5/5, similiar issues to Clash of the Titans but slightly less problamatic, with some heavy DNR at times and inconsistent black levels.
AQ: 4.5/5, not quite reference but ever so close.
Overall: 4/5, film makers should know better then to smother any part of a film with DNR.

In all honesty given the look this film was going for it probably should have been shot differently.

How can you be sure it wasn't like that at the cinema? you might not have noticed.

It was like that in cinemas and is inherent to the film (much like clash of the titains), it would have looked better and less waxy without it though (note: most of the film does not have this 'problem' but parts do).

no but I've seen it at video ezy. the slip art is the same as the regular cover, the red one with kick-ass mid jump

I watched Kick Ass on Blu-Ray yesterday, I wish I had gone to the cinemas to see this when it was out. It was awesome

This was a blind buy for me, and it was worth it.

Yep, it is meant to come with all copies of the super hero edition. However the super hero edition was also meant to be preorder only (but I guess it didn't all sell).

What are the audio and subtitle options on the Australian disc?

I know the backcover only lists "English" but are there more on the actual disc?

Saw Kick-Ass at 'The Warehouse' today, had a slipcover. The title was done in a reflective metallic font. Is that the same style that people are saying is a 'Video Ezy Exclusive' ? if it is, well, it ain't no more lol
