I'd like to recommend there being a feature to tell us if the BR is out of print or rather, if it has gone out of print, the date it has.

I'm assuming movies like 'The Fifth Element', 'Gladiator', 'Superman Returns' & 'Gangs of New York' have already had one edition go out of print.

It can just be on the search feature/function.

I know other Criterion titles have gone out of print and even Watchmen DC may have gone OOP.

This would be helpful in my opinion because if BR is going to be the next DVD, tonnes of titles will be released and many will go OOP because they don't move off the shelf as quick as reference titles and huge blockbusters. Better to be started early than late.

Default Music titles under MOVIES

We have Comedy, Drama, Documentary and Biography movies listed under the MUSIC section. I know they are music-based movies so I understand the cross-reference to them in this section, but do they really belong here?

Is it possible to create sub-sections within MUSIC (Concerts, Movies, Classical, Blu-ray Audio) so we can more easily browse for that genre of music title?

Fixed, previously titles in custom categories weren't counted, but they are now.

You can now quick search for all "Hardware" in the top-right quick search box.

I have multiple copies of my PS3 games (135 total) for the 5 PS3's in my house. Can we add a feature to the PS3 game list to reflect this?

Whatever it may be, I think it would be a good idea to have an option that allows this type of entry.

John, under the image there is a little box that you can check off. When that is clicked, scroll to the bottom of the page and press Edit Selected button. It will open to a new window that allows you to add a description.

I wish then they'd a add a section to allow us to write an opening statement to decribe our setup and whatever else one wanted to say.

i was wondering if there was any way a feature could be added where we could save a post to our file somewhere for future reference??

i came across an instance the other day when someone had given me some websites to check out for speakers and it would be nice to save it somehow so i could come back to it and review it @ some point.

instead of going back and trying to find the original post.

What about clicking the post # so that it opens on its own in a new tab and adding that to your favorites?

This is an extremely unusual setup, so please use "Living room" for now and we'll take a look at it later on

Unfortunately as a regular member you can't update this. We are currently changing how the whole cast & crew is implemented on the site and in a few months you should see more complete listings for all BD movies

Is it possible to create a category that acts like the wishlist section, where I can track it but it doesn't update my total movie count?

I have a few entries that are being tracked as movies but they are promos, such as the Toy Story 3 and BatB ironpacks. I created a new category for them but they still show up as movies in my collection overall.

Default Collection Comparer

I have a request for the IT/software dude who runs the site:

a new feature "collection comparer" - a feature that let's you see whose collections most closely match your own.

Example: I own 200 blus. Some other guy may own 150 blus. If 140 of his 150 are in my collection, this would be 140/150= 93.3% collection match (i.e., 93% of his collection matches my collection - not the other way around). Some other guy may own 50 blus, and only 10 of his blus are in my collection = 10/50 = 20% match. I you'd have to have a minimum collection size to count in the feature, like at least 30-40 or something.

THe way it would work would be - I click on his profile and it would just pop up the % match (of how much his collection matches mine). Or we could just have an icon on our own profile, where it would list blu-ray.com members with the highest ranking % matches to our collection.

EDIT: I just realized that the % match calculation can only be done ONE WAY -- from the perspective of the smaller collection. If member #1 has a 200 blu collection, and member #2 has a 150 blu collection, and 140/150 of member #2's collection is in member #1's collection, it only makes sense to say "93% of member#2's collection is in member #1's collection". It makes no sense to say "140/200=70% of member #1's collection is in member #2's collection" since member #2's collection is smaller so can't possibly have 100% of member #1's collection!

This feature still works, but for each member #1-member#2 pairing, only ONE % match number is calculated -- based on how much of the smaller collection is in the larger collection. So when member #1 click's on member #2's profile, or vice versa, it'll shoot out the same 93% figure. Or both member #1 and member #2 will list each other with 93% figure.

EDIT2: To the programmers - the algorithm would look like this:
[Show spoiler]
Input 1 = Collection 1 Data set (Title 1, Title 2, Title 3, etc)
Input 2 = Collection 2 Data set (Title A, Title B, Title C, etc)
Is # Entries in Collection 1 Data Set < # of Entires in Collection 2 Data Set?
Y? Determine overlap of Entries in Collection 1 with Entries of Collection 2 (only in that direction)
Divide # of Overlap Entries in Collection 1 with Total # of Entries in Collection 1, Multiply by 100 --> Output Percentage
N? Determine overlap of Entries in Collection 2 with Entries of Collection 1 (only in that direction)
Divide # of Overlap Entries in Collection 2 with Total # of Entries in Collection 2, Multiply by 100 --> Output Percentage

Sorry if that was confusing
