I agree on this one...if Disney pulled out all their big guns, families would really think about going Blu-ray. However, I'm actually glad they haven't done so yet because:

1. They are doing an excellent job on their PQ/SQ and that quality is BY FAR the best I've seen on any HD format (I've seen the blockbusters of HD DVD at a friend's home).

2. My wallet could use a breather every now and again.

But I still agree with you.

I'm sure they'll do a great job on the old animated features. They haven't let us down yet.

If this was already mentioned, I'm sorry...but having seen the Lion King at the IMAX in Omaha...omg that was a thing of absolute, and total beauty. I think that movie would be phenomenal on Blu-ray.

Default A Little Fish story will blow you away

I cannot wait for the release of Finding Nemo by Disney/Pixar for Blu-ray! The visuals in that movie were out of this world.

This is the only Pixar film I have not seen, but my kids love this one. I am really considering rebuying all these films. I loved Cars, Incredibles, monstors inc, and the 2 toy story movies.

But by the time your wallet is fat again, all of Disney's bd would have been out for a while, thus ensuring a big BOGO at Amazon

I heard that High School Musical 2 was the most watched cable television premiere EVER. Just knowing that it will be good for Blu. The key with Disney is getting families into Blu-ray instead of DUD. This will be an awesome family title, and I predict it will do fairly well.

Also, I did not own a SINGLE Disney movie before I went Blu (I own about a hundred DVD's). The only reason was because they were too expensive. Now I realize just how sweet it is to have those titles in my collection. Most of my Blu collection are Disney movies now.

Yeah I have had people asking for this one at my work both DVD and Blu which is cool, don't care for it myself, but hope it does good to promote/support Blu.

The Disney mall tour will make sure families are into Blu-Ray, I'm pretty sure HSM2 wil be around once it is released.

If you watch Disney channel at all, you can hear several high school musical stars say "High School Musical 2 extended edition on DVD and Disney Blu-Ray Disc"

The kids who love HSM would probably freak out over seeing the kids like they're in their living rooms and hearing the music better than if it was a live concert.
