I know it's not exactly space saving but I actually prefer it when boxsets with multiple movies aren't fitted into a normal sized case, I think it's good for them to look 'thicker' on the shelf to indicate its more than one film. And I've observed lots of US releases do this, whereas in the UK it's not the case. The Godfather and LotR come to mind - the UK cases are much thicker because its individual cases in a slipbox. So it'd annoy me if they fit BTTF into one normal sized steelbook. As it is, because it hasn't been advertised as an official steelbook, I'd say it's very unlikely to be one and, as I say, I'm betting on a band of brothers style digibook inside a tin. |

If Amazon's to be trusted it does say specifically that "Blu-ray Collector's Tin includes- digipack blu-ray trilogy, Delorean blueprint, Outtatime number plate, Sports Almanac, Save The Clocktower poster, Lenticular photo of Marty's family plus more." So I assume it will look like the BoB package, but a tad bigger/thicker to house all those extra goodies

I would have prefered the BTTF blu-ray trilogy in a steelbook to be honest if it were only contained on 3 discs for the movies, and a seperate disc in a seperate case, filled with bonus features. But if a tin/digibook is all we are going to have, plus the extra goodies (that delorean model is sh*t) than that is okay I guess. Shame really since the DVD 4-disc set comes in a brilliant looking steelbook. ![]() |

£70 for the DeLorean edition? No thank you very much, I'll usually buy any overpriced junk but that looks very poor in the photos shown so far. I'd guess its polystone which is terrible stuff to make cars out of, it just won't take very fine detail or a metallic finish like diecast. I noticed the black windows, presumably to save the effort of interior detailing. If you want a car buy a Sunstar 1:18 (about £40) or a Welly 1:24 (about £13) scale diecast and the tin or digipack edition

![]() ![]() Alien boxset, BTTF boxset, The Godfather boxset, Indiana Jones boxset... And so goes on the nightmare for people who just appreciate the first film (and 2nd for Aliens/Godfather) but have all the shit foisted on them with crappy follow-ups, retarded remakes and cash-ins. It's a good way for producers/bloated directors/distributors to hide shit films which would make MUCH less money were they not bundled with the original classics. Yes, I noticed ![]() |

I am still a bit confused
![]() What does the Delorean Edition come with? On Play.com it states "This Collectors Edition Tin Includes A Delorean blueprint, An 'Outatime' number plate, The Sports Almanac, Save The Clocktower poster & A Lenticular photo of Marty's family plus much, much more!" That is the description for the Collector's Tin (it even says), is the Delorean Edition going to come with the extras or just a model of the Delorean? |

The second is amazing! I've yet to see a sequal come anywhere near as close as BTTF2 in integrating itself into the original story while managing to remain creative and innovative in it's own right. The way it executes it's concepts is nothing short of masterful.
The third? Yeah ok, it's not as good. It's obviously the weakest of the three, relying on in-jokes you'll only really appreciate having seen the first couple, and at points it starts to feel a little repetitive. However it's unlikely you'd see the third without seeing any of the others, and on the back of those two it's still a very good movie. |
