Can add Watchmen: Director's Cut to the $10 list (but another YMMV...I picked it up after my heart skipped a beat

). Also picked up all three Pirates of the Carribean flicks (each $14.83)...

Actually most of these titles were all in the 2/$9.98 category at BBV for that matter!

I passed by at lunch and picked up two for $5.00 each:
ELLA ENCHANTED
ETERNAL SUNSHINE...

Haven't seen either, but at $5.00 new, that is below my no-brainer threshold for new movies.
(new movies = $10, PV movies = $5.00, new PS3 games = $20)

Forgot to mention ... I also saw the original blu-ray for 300 as well as Batman Begins with the 2/$20 stick on it. So 300 & Batman Begins are only $10 too. Pretty awesome.

Also, noticed that although the movie isle was full of the same movies with sticker prices MUCH higher, they still scanned in on their sale price of $10 or whatever. So if you see a title with a higher sticker price, check it with the scanner to see the real price.

I'm with you on dvd's, but blu's are much harder to scratch. I've bought over ten used titles from BBV, and none have been scratched.

I picked up Reindeer Games and saw other $5 titles in Hamilton/Waterdown stores. (Ontario)

As for location in store, cardboard displays that were mixed with dvds and blu's, looked like mini bookshelves with 4 sides to them... look behind dvds as well as people pick up and put back in the wrong spot... I think there were 2 of these displays outside the electronics area in both of the stores I went to.

The $5.00 titles are located in huge cardboard bookshelves just outside of the electronics area. It is a big hodge-podge of DVDs and BDs that got restocked in my store last night.

It is similar to the big Christmas display they had with a mess of cheap movies in the centre aisles.

This was in Ontario.

I was back there tonight (for diapers) and picked up THE BABYSITTERS for $7.50. No reason really except for the fact that I couldn't put down the cover.

You would know if you have seen it.

Looked for UNBREAKABLE, but couldn't find one. I did see SIGNS though as well as THE BOUNTY HUNTER and 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU (thought about getting it, but didn't. I have too many BDs from the BBV sales).

I can back up the Watchman: Directors cut sighting @ $10 - saw the same at 2 WMs.

I picked up Haunted Mansion and it was actually $10. Movie is ok, but I mostly picked this up for the extras and the fact that I can't get enough of that attraction whenever I'm at Disney World.....

Is HAUNTED MANSION any good? I like Eddie Murphy, but this movie didn't last long in theatres and looked like a stinker.

I also saw SNATCH in the list at my Walmart.

Kinda disappointed that my local wal-marts never have anything below $9.83, it's actually kind of messed up I've never seen any of the deals posted here in stores (other than the 2/20$ summer deal but still not below the 10$ price point)

I love the ride, but I wouldn't suggest watching this, let alone buying it. That's just my opinion though.

Del Toro is making a version of it, so hopefully he does something better.

Don't all the stores have pretty much the same pricing so even if the stickers don't get updated the movies should scan at the prices listed? I always scan stuff at the self scanner things at walmart since you never know if the sticker is right.

They don't even have most of those titles in stock at all. They lack especially in blu-TV shows, but w/e I'm just waiting for Black Friday anyways.

Yep. Since its a nationwide sale, all the titles should scan in at the same price. I've seen plenty of the sale titles on the shelves so its worth a look.

I didn't mind the movie so much. Probably more enjoyable if one actually likes the attraction. This is definitely the Eddie Murphy era where he was making more family-oriented movies. It's certainly far removed from the days of '48 HRS', 'Trading Places' or 'Beverly Hills Cop', but I certainly enjoyed Haunted Mansion more than some of bombs like Norbit or Plutio Nash. And the PQ/AQ on the Haunted Mansion is excellent, plus it has all those extras for those of us who never outgrew the attraction

It ended in Quebec yesterday. They end elsewhere tomorrow.

Actually, nothing really ended. That was the pre-anniversary sale, and the anniversary sale is going on now. Same stuff I believe, though the $5 blus are actually advertised.
