I have not watched an episode since the premiere, but I have been saving all of them up on my DVR. Just wondering without spoiling anything did this show pick it up and get really good?

Yep I love it god I hope this show gets to really develop over some seasons and doesn't just get canned. I like the show more when I can watch multiple episodes rather then 1 every week.

Typically cable always gives their shows a chance, much more than network, but I've been reading lately that this show is really struggling to connect and has something just slightly over 1 million viewers. However like I said being cable and especially AMC, I would not be the slightest bit surprised to see a renewal.

This show actually averages with better ratings than Mad Men did in its first season, so hopefully AMC will give it a chance. While I was hooked from the beginning, this show has really developed over the course of the season. I really, really enjoy it.

Wow, I just looked it up, I had no idea the show premiered to 0.90 million and now avarages just under 3 million, so I guess it is a lot safer than I thought. Sounds good, guess I will get in on this pretty soon than.

If this show doesn't get picked up for a second season at least it will end strong. It has become my favorite (currently airing) Sunday night show.

The show started slow, but has really picked up and I'm enjoying the ride. Last night's episode was awesome. Really hope the show gets renewed.

Yeah I LOVE it and Sundays ep was amazing and really what I've been waiting for

Quote:
And Robert Seidman of TV by the Numbers, my go-to site for analysis of Neilsen ratings, says my hopes for 'Rubicon' aren't entirely unrealistic. To be clear, they're somewhat unrealistic -- 'Rubicon's' ratings have not been great, and Seidman didn't seem to think a renewal was likely. But he didn't rule out the idea of the show getting a second season.

Here's what Seidman said when I asked him if the low-rated 'Rubicon' had a chance of coming back:

"Cable shows are hard to predict because there are so many different variables from network to network," Seidman wrote. "If 'Rubicon' was on USA, TNT or FX with those ratings, I don't think it would stand a chance of being renewed. Without a ratings turnaround, I'd bet against 'Rubicon' being renewed, even on AMC. But since it is on AMC, hoping that it has a puncher's chance isn't completely insane.

"Separately, I wonder if the performance of 'Walking Dead' [which premieres on AMC Oct. 31] will influence AMC's decision," Seidman continued. "I'm guessing 'Walking Dead' will wind up AMC's highest-rated original ever. But if it pulls only a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating, the 0.2 'Rubicon' has typically been pulling might not look as bad."

If you want to support 'Rubicon,' watch the show. Tell your friends to watch it. Watch it quickly if you use your DVR to record it. Send an email to AMC at amccustomerservice@rainbow-media.com telling the network you want it to come back.

start sending emails guys!!!!!

This show is the best thing to come along since Breaking Bad ... Will Travers is the thinking-man's Jack Bauer ... it must continue.

I started watching this show from the beginning this week and promptly got caught up to the current episode within 3 days. This is a seriously great show and whoever coined Will as "The thinking man's Jack Bauer" up above encompassed my thoughts entirely.

Really hoping this gets renewed.

I hope so I'd love to see this show take off although I do think it could get old if they keep having these vast evil business men plots, but lets just make it to season 2 lol.

Boycott AMC? Are you kidding me? Like i'm going to skip Breaking Bad, the Walking Dead, and Mad Men. Not gonna happen. This show had HORRENDOUS Ratings even by cable standards. This show was always going to be canceled, the ratings flat out sucked. So how this could be a surprise to you is actually the surprising part.

I liked it, but honestly I'm almost glad it's done. The supporting actors, especially Arliss Howard and Michael Cristofer, were terrific, these guys I definitely would have liked to see again in a second season. But to me the conspiracy plot fell completely flat. The whole thing with the CD was so stupid and cliched. So was the reveal about Andy being involved in this whole thing. I saw it coming a mile away, and yet I really hoped they wouldn't go there.

Anyway, I guess The Walking Dead was the final nail in its coffin.

As long as The Walking Dead doesn't put a hurt on Breaking Bad or Mad Men next, AMC has earned myself as a fan for the foreseeable future. And I loved Rubicon.

There were so many different shows on at the same time slot so I didn't have time to see any other episodes besides 1 and 2. I was recently planning to get into it by buying the first season on iTunes, but I guess I won't now.....
